Trillium's Business Philosophy

To be a non-profit or not to be, that is the question.

Trillium made a conscious choice to be a for profit business as opposed to a non-profit in order to demonstrate that businesses can be community minded, earth conscious, and working for the greater good. Let's face it, the business sector has tremendous power and influence. Social and environmental justice is dependent on businesses adopting more responsible, healthy, and green business values and practices. Consumers are able to exercise their right to vote for these values through their purchasing power by supporting businesses that hold these values.

Trillium demonstrates these values and practices by serving local and organic foods at events, using eco-friendly products and recycled materials as much as possible, and providing programming that empowers people to be more socially and environmentally conscious in their day to day lives.
