Gathering with friends and celebrate the return of the light! But first, we will take some time to reflect on the importance of the light and be thankful for the many ways it manifests itself in our lives.
The Winter Solstice was a momentous occasion for many of our ancestors as they celebrated the return of light to the land. In our modern age the return of light is not as crucial because we are surrounded by light all the time, in fact many yearn to be able to experience real darkness. This evening will do just that; allow you to sit in darkness and be still during the most hectic time of year.
Jana's serves local and organic foods whenever possible. Jana is a regular chef for Spiritsong events because of her committment to serving local ingredients and because her food is delicious!
